To help make the most of the holiday season, visit Bent's RV and give yourself a present of a new or used Coachmen, Gulf Stream, Dutchmen or Forest River.

Whatever RV you choose, Louisiana has a variety of events to enjoy while traveling during the holidays.

New Orleans

The Celebrations in the Oaks in City Park, on-going through January, 4, 2014, is a magical display of thousands of sparkling white lights draped through the oak trees. The light show and seasonal displays are located throughout 13 acres that includes the Carousel Gardens, Botanical Garden and Storyland.

The annual Caroling in Jackson Square at 7pm on Sunday, December 22, is a night to remember as the crowd holds candles and sings songs in front of the St. Louis Cathedral.

The New Orleans Christmas in the District event features spectacular light displays and over 70 decorated trees. The event culminates at the convention center with animated lighting effects, digital Christmas tree, and thousands of lights synchronized to music.

Natchez

Throughout December, Natchez has a variety of events that everyone will enjoy beginning December 7th at 6pm with fireworks and a parade downtown.

On December 8th from 1:30pm to 4pm, guests enjoy the 6th Annual Christmas Open House at Auburn with entertainment, baked goods, and free tours.

On December 12th at 5:30pm, sing along at the Holiday Concert hosted by the Eola Hotel. On the 15th, it's all about the kids as Santa will be at historic Stanton Hall from 2pm to 4pm for pictures and wish lists.

Baton Rouge

Saturday, December 14, from 5:30pm to 7pm, join the masses as the Cortana Kiwanis Downtown Christmas Parade celebrates its 63rd season. The Grand Marshall will be on hand to guide marching bands, celebrities, and dance troupes making their way through downtown.

Natchitoches

The riverfront is lit up with festive lights through January 6. Be dazzled by more than 300,000 Christmas lights and over 100 holiday sets every night. While taking in the sights of the Landmark Historic District, stop in at local shops and restaurants and enjoy a carriage tour through the district.
